Public bug reported:
The Chips F69000 is a rather old graphics chipset. Currently Ubuntu
tries to set it up with 24 bit colour depth, leading to screens confined
to 800x600 resolution. When manually reducing colour depth to 16 bit
1024x768 is possible.
