cannot confirm this on a up-to-date hardy (ubuntu). the session gets
locked when selecting "switch user"...

Clicking on Lock Screen, only dims screen, no security

Clicking on Switch User, only temp. switches to login screen, then back to user
previously using computer, no security involved.
