We need to determine whether you are experiencing an ALSA issue or a
PulseAudio issue. In System> Preferences> Sound> Devices, please try
selecting "ALSA - Advanced Linux Sound Architecture" for the "Sound
playback" dropdown choice for "Sound Events" and "Music and Movies".
