Public bug reported:

After an upgrade from Gutsy to Hardy, X comes up in a low resolution. I
determined this was due to a mismatch between the kernel driver and the
NVidia libraries. I completely removed all nvidia packages, and
attempted to use EnvyNG to properly load the drivers. X was still
unable to use the nvidia driver, because the driver wasn't loaded into
the kernel. Manually attempting to load the kernel module results in
this message:

FATAL: Error running install command for nvidia

I managed to find another user with the same issue, with the resolution
that linux-restricted-modules-2.6.24-17-generic wasn't loaded. After
getting that package, everything worked perfectly. IMHO, the EnvyNG
script should have also installed this package.

In summary:
Release - 8.04
Package - envyng-core-1.1.1ubuntu11
Current behavior - envyng doesn't get and install the proper
linux-restricted-modules package
Expected behavior - envyng installs the package
Reason - EnvyNG is expected to completely install the NVidia driver, a portion
of which is contained in the linux-restricted-modules package

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
