** Description changed:
- Binary package hint: pidgin
-
In previous versions of Pidgin, when new mail notification is enabled
for a Gmail account, if new messages have been read after the
notification has appeared the new message count in the notification was
updated. This is no longer the case.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Set up Pidgin to display new mail notifications for a Gmail account
2. Send an email to the Gmail account
3. Wait for the New Mail notification to be displayed in Pidgin. Do not click
on the notification.
4. Read the message in Gmail
Expected outcome:
The new mail notification disappears
Actual outcome:
The new mail notification still displays "1 new e-mail."
