it would be REALLY great if the linuxsampler conundrum could be fixed.
64studio is, I guess, a better choice for a better audio studio distro.
I'm going in circles learning about 'how to install linuxsampler'. some
unresolved problem with licensing I guess. too many "do this,
UNLESS....", too many programmy hacks.

so, should I be using libgig6, or libgig? or is this just leading me on
to believe I won't have to compile, tweak confg files, etc., ad
nauseum....

I'm a big fan for linux, I LOVE the concepts & principles, but alas, I
cannot recommend it to 'normal people' until things like 'install-apt
get' work for all applications. I guess I'm asking too much

I guess I just need to go to programming school so I can compile from
source....
