Public bug reported:
In Ubuntu 8.04, when I click "Suspend" the screen turns black and the
fan speed decreases alright. However, when I try to resume, Ubuntu
starts desperately writing to the hard drive as if hibernating, and then
crashes (the HDD led keeps glowing, though). No response to the keyboard
or mouse, no signal from the videocard. Hard reboot is the only thing
left to do.
Please inform me if any more information is needed.
