Which version should I upgrade to? I'm running the latest versions available in Dapper (firefox 1.5.dfsg+1.5.0.7-ubuntu0.6.06 and gtk- engines-gtk-qt 0.60-1.1ubuntu7 at the time of writing). Am I right in thinking that the fix has been released upstream in Edgy and probably won't be backported to Dapper? As this is a work machine I don't really want to go to Edgy until it's stable.
For what it's worth, this machine was originally installed using a Kubuntu 5.10 CD and subsequently upgraded. I have a number of other machines that were installed using Ubuntu 6.06 CDs, and the problem has not occurred on these, even though kubuntu-desktop was subsequently installed and the default window manager was changed from Gnome to KDE. Presumably this is because the Ubuntu install includes a lot of Gnome libraries that don't get installed on a standard Kubuntu install. -- GTK+ apps show wrong scrollbars https://launchpad.net/bugs/52573 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
