Bug #160342 was due to the need for a Pipe-A quirk for the Dell Latitude D505 (specifically).
You can test if the 410 would benefit from having a Pipe-A quirk as well by adding the following to your xorg.conf and seeing if it makes the issue go away: Section "Device" ... <other options here> ... Option "ForceEnablePipeA" "true" EndSection If doing this does make the issue go away, then I can solve the issue by putting in a quirk for this hardware; in this case I need to know your subvendor chipset pci id - please attach the output of `lspci -vvnn`. Bug 213754 is listed as a kernel bug, so if you rule out the PipeA issue and think that it is definitely a kernel bug, please re-file this bug against `linux` and contact ogasawara for further triaging. -- P3: Gutsy freezes when loggin out or shutting down https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/236822 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
