similar to others already posted. Camera (Canon S5is) worked perfectly under 7.10; when I went to hardy, started getting the already reported dolphin problems when mounting memory sticks: dolphin opens with the message: "A security policy in place prevents this sender from sending this message to this recipient..etc (rejected message has interface 'org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume" ...
...but was able to manually mount the sticks. Just tried for the 1st time to mount the camera as usual, but it fails with: "Failed to connect to camera.." dmesg says: [11446.485554] usb 5-2: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 11 [11446.625343] usb 5-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice but nothing else. The device shows up on the desktop as:USB Imaging Interface, but I can't mount it. USB (and multimedia (take pulse, please)) connectivity has taken a hit with hardy. But I really appreciate the efforts being made to make it better. -- hardy: some USB cameras unable to connect https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/213658 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
