You will need to attempt to install Ubuntu again in order to get the log
files. Run the installer until it crashes, and then open a browser
window and attach /var/log/syslog and /var/log/partman to this bug
report following http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingUbiquity/AttachingLogs
