Bug 145012 should be fixed in 8.04 and the version of ntfs-3g in 8.04
has improved greatly since the 7.10 beta CD was released. The migration
assistant will still not show for Windows 2000, however.
Is this bug still present for you in the latest release? If so, please
attach /var/log/syslog and /var/log/partman from a failed install
attempt.
