Public bug reported:

I have a NVidia 6200 video card and when I try to enable Compiz in Hardy
(8.04) everything becomes very slow. The process "compiz.real" takes up
all of the CPU and moving a window becomes very jerky. The system
performs fine using metacity. I have tried both the nvidia-glx-new
(169.12+2.6.24.13-18.41) and nvidia-glx (96.43.05+2.6.24.13-18.41)
drivers, with the same effect. I have disabled all the compiz effects.
glxgears is yielding around 1000 FPS. I have attached my xorg.conf file
to this bug. Thanks.
