That's almost certainly the cause.

The best thing to try (although not guaranteed to work, sadly), is a workaround 
explained here:

I've converted this to a support question. The bug is indeed a bug, but
it's one that is already well known, and reported elsewhere (unless you
can demonstrate that it's not due to the graphics drivers).
