Here are steps that should help you. Can you please lists the steps you 
have been using to attempt and is this a GMail IMAP account?
T this moment in time i don't have an IMAP account but i should have one 
by end of day. I would prefer a free IMAP account but i can always hack 
Gmail to use IMAP

1. you can use movemail
2. then you can probably specify that as the location
3. maybe you can even set a custom location for Mail for certain accounts
