Here is the most recent Ubuntu entry in debian/changelog:
classpath (2:0.96.1-1ubuntu1) hardy; urgency=low

+ Update Maintainer field

Here is a Debian entry in debian/changelog:
classpath (2:0.97-1) unstable; urgency=low
* New upstream release.
- JAP GUI works now. Closes: #349062.
* debian/control (classpath): Depend on classpath-common (>= 2:0.97).
* debian/control (gcjwebplugin): Recommend iceweasel instead of
mozilla-firefox by default.
* Add XB-Npp-* headers from Ubuntu.
* Removed debian/classpath.links: Obsolete.

As you can see, the XB-Npp-* headers have been added in both Debian and
Ubuntu. In Debian, they decided to change the recommendation from
mozilla-firefox to iceweasel. This means we can drop the Ubuntu change
of changing the recommendation from being mozilla-firefox to being
firefox. The final Ubuntu change, updating the maintainer field, can
also be safely dropped. Therefore, I feel it is safe to sync this
package.
