Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: wine

After following instructions in the forums per this thread's
instructions, I attempted to watch tv shows on abc.com through wine +
firefox + adobe flash. Everything works fine through the commercials,
right up to the point where the show video starts. At this point the
video flips into a weird color scheme with lots of interesting colors,
but not correct ones. The video itself also appears to be heavily
pixelated. Even after closing wine, this graphics mode persists until
the xserver is restarted with Ctrl+ Alt + Backspace.

Another thought is that I have not been able to find this bug reported
anywhere else except at the very end of the thread I followed directions
from, leading me to believe that possibly a recent change is responsible
for this bug... but I don't have any real evidence to support that.

I saw the exact same issue with both the open source and proprietary ATI
drivers for my A215-S4807 Toshiba Satellite laptop.

I am fairly adept at linux in general, so if I can contribute any
debugging help, just point me in the direction of useful information to
collect.
