This isn't a bug because some of the examples have been compressed in
accordance with Debian policy and some of they need to write in the same dir,
so sudo gzip -d *.gz the /usr/share/doc/wx2.8-examples/examples/wxPython etc..
shouldn't be used to unpack examples. Please read this file:
/usr/share/doc/wx2.8-examples/examples/README.examples
and use this to unpack examples:
/usr/share/doc/wx2.8-examples/examples/unpack_examples.sh
