I had the same problem. After spending HOURS AND HOURS on it. (partially
finding out that they were REFERED to as Bookmarks, then fighting with the Help
program (refering to how individual Applications deal with bookmarks).
I found the answer.
Places -> Network -> Bookmarks -> Edit Bookmarks -> (select the ftp
server you want removed) -> Remove
Seems rather common sensical, but yes, I agree, a rightclick would work
alot better,
