sorry for posting so fast, i tried running amarokapp in konsole to see what
messages it's giving, and this time i marked my music folder as part of the
collection, and let amarok scan it, it added 32 files from the 43 files in it.
and in konsole said "amarok: ERROR: translation of "Edit Track &Information..."
doesn't contain 2 different plural forms as expected", and a lot of "ERROR
reading METADATA", so this can be a problem with the metadata of some files.
but seriously, a corrupt metadata can crash the program? the file is playing
fine in real player on windows and in VLC on linux!
