Public bug reported:
Nvidia 7200gs with nvidia driver nvidia-glx-new fails to boot. Ubuntu
will goto loading screen then go blank as if it is trying to start x and
gdm login.
Absolutely no Xorg.0.log is generated. So I can't attach what doesn't exist. i
checked other logs for nvidia references. Nothing.
lspci -v | grep VGA
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation G72 [GeForce 7300 SE]
(rev a1) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])
^ It is Nvidia 7200GS card... not 7300SE.
