Attachment is a screen shot of the error. The only programs running
(other than the upgrade and background processes) were a weather applet,
and the avant window navigator.

Upgrading to 8.04 LTS and got update-initramfs: failed for
/boot/initrd.img-2.6.24-18-generic. something about a bad file descriptor.
