Public bug reported:

The Kyocera FS-1016MFP uses the foo2kyo driver from
http://sourceforge.net/projects/kyo-fs1016mfp/ but it doesn't seem to
work.  My printer jobs appear to be sent to the printer successfully but
they don't get printed.

Downloading the driver from the SourceForge page, changing the following line 
in the Makefile:
cp ppd/Kyocera-Mita-FS-1016MFP-foo2kyo.ppd /usr/share/cups/model/
to
cp ppd/Kyocera-Mita-FS-1016MFP-foo2kyo.ppd /usr/share/ppd/custom
...does seem to work though.  

Attached is a .deb package I made with...
sudo checkinstall -D make install 
...that works for me.
