Hy,

On an IBM T60 laptop I've migrated to the beta edgy. After reboot I get
a lot of these warnings after a while:

"ata1: translated ATA stat/err 0x51/40 to SCSI SK/ASC/ASCQ 0x3/11/04" .

Basically the system manages to boot up to the graphical login, which
never shows up. The hard-drive is working like crazy in the mean-time.

I've tested the hard-drive on Windows with PC Doctor 5 and surface scan
didn't return a thing.

Forgot to mention: I may start in safe mode, I login but xinit +
startxfce4 or kde locks the PC in the same way.
