** Description changed: Gutsy Gibbon and Hardy Heron do not boot after installation on iMac G3 PowerPC. Tested with clean installations of (X)Ubuntu 7.10 and 8.04. When the system starts and it is go to load Upstart, the system shuts down the computer, and I can not configure/remove Usplash because the "Linux single" option is not present at Yaboot bootloader. It is not possible to use (K/X)Ubuntu 7.10 and 8.04 on iMac G3 machine. - Xubuntu 7.04 loads without any problem, but it do not show Usplash. "Linux single" option is not present in 7.04 either. + The 7.04 starts without any problem, but it doesn't show Usplash. "Linux single" option is not present in the 7.04 either.
