This error happens when I am trying to start autorunning scripts from a removable media drive. It can be any script that's named autorun.sh. For instance, on my backup drive I had an rsync script that I wanted to autorun. So, I named it autorun.sh. As planned the dialog box asking if I wanted to run the script comes up, however, when I choose run, it comes back with an exec format error. However, if I run this script say in the command line it works fine. I have autoran the exact same script in previous versions of Ubuntu fine. When their dialog boxes come up asking if I want to run it, I click run and it works.
