Thanks for your bugreport.
Could you please test if turning off desktop effects fixes the issue
(Preferences/Apperance/Visual Effects)? I don't think this is a bug in
compiz itself, just something that compiz triggers. Could you please add
the last few lines from ~/.xsession-errors and dmesg after the error
happens?
