Still the same problem with today's newest kernel "Ubuntu 8.04, kernel 2.6.24-19-generic": can't connect to WEP2. I still need to boot into good old "Ubuntu 8.04, kernel 2.6.22-14-generic" from the boot options to have my Centrino connected to my WEP AP.
BTW: With kernel 2.6.24-19, the network manager only sees two SSIDs (among which my WEP SSID), whereas 2.6.22-14 sees six different SSIDs. Any work on this? -- 8.04: Centrino Wifi WEP not working, WPA2 ok https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/223111 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
