You have been subscribed to a public bug by Jamie Strandboge (jdstrand):

I recieved some mysql errors with error code 127 first.

I checked the logs and saw strange

"mysqld_safe: Number of processes running now: 0"
"mysqld_safe: restarted"

entries. Around 3 times around the time this problems shown up.

Since the 127er errors kept comming, i checked the datebase and found
serval corrupted files, which even could not be fixed with the mysql
tools (wrong index, datafile sizes).

We got it all fixed. Yet... i have no clou how this happend (only this
one time ever so far)

Any suggestions ?
Could it be related to mysql updates ?
Security issue ?
