Binary package hint: usplash
Ubuntu Hardy 8.04 RC.
Fails to show usplash screen on startup or shutdown. Worked fine with the
live cd.
Resolution is 1280x1024. Gnome runs fine.
Workaround is to change resolution in /etc/usplash.conf to 1024x768 and run
'sudo update-initramfs -u'
ATI Radeon video card.
