Public bug reported:
My Gateway P-6860FX laptop has an 8800M GTS video card. Ubuntu's driver
manager did not install the correct drivers, so I got the drivers from
nvidia.com/object/unix.html and ran their installation. That install is
correct.
Furthermore, the driver manager kept overwriting my custom xorg, I
believe, so I had to uninstall jockey to keep my xorg from breaking.
