Public bug reported:
This bug is going to stop me from using ubuntu completely, I have
submitted it before but so far no resolution. Most of the time none of
the player can play audio or video for some reason, or sometimes a video
plays but incredibly slowly with no audio. Restarting the computer
sometimes fixes the problem. Then theres some times where the video
plays fine in VLC but theres no audio. I have had this problem since
hardy heron was released. I have a nvidia 8600 graphics card. I've never
had this problem with gutsy. I have attached ogg video of the problem.
