I have a similiar problem on my laptop running Hardy while the Desktop, also
with Hardy, does not have this problem and performs all necessary tasks
normally.

The site I'm trying to access and am successful is bcauction.ca but then when
trying to login to bid or pay for items get the bad referer message.
I've disabled all addons and ad deleted all cookies but no success.
