One of my rigs has the same mobo. As for grub keyboard in grub, you will
need to go into the BIOS and enable usb keyboard support. As for the
keyboard randomly stopping working, that is a problem I have too. I
plugged in a "backup" PS2 Keyboard and did a dmesg to see if I saw
anything, but I did not. In addition, the problem is bigger for me, once
the keyboard stops working, it turns out that the entire USB system
stops working. I try to plug in a flash drive, but that does not work.
I've let my system sit the the bios for a while and it does not happen.
I wish I had windows to test with, but I don't. Perhaps there is a
kernel error that and randomly the USB on the SB700 stop working. Its
obnoxious and I don't know whos problem it is (besides mine)
