Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

I am aware of the problem from my experience with the beta version. I
thought this would have been fixed with the new version. Without any
crashes and after closing properly, when I turned on my computer this
morning Firefox hads no memory of who I am. No bookmarks and no saved
passwords etc.

Loss of profile when all I have done is stop, turn off the machine and
then restart is NOT acceptable and IS a bug
