Thanks for your bugreport.
I commited a fix for this into my intrepid branch. It will auto
transition from old-releases back to archive.ubuntu.com though. I'm not
sure if that is the best way to do it, afterall it means people have 6
month to upgrade from a unsupported release before the behavior will
become a bug. If you think this is not sufficient, then please reopen
and I will try to come up with some more clever transition logic.
