If you can reproduce this it would be useful to run eg

  strace -o /tmp/trace python -c pass

and attach /tmp/trace to this file.  I suspect something is broken in
the filesystem after restore and so the python libraries cannot be
opened.  If this is true you should not use hibernate because it may
cause corruption.
