Public bug reported:
When I tried to start Battle for Wesnoth nothing happened. I tried again and
again and decided to have a better look at the cause. I started the program in
gnome-terminal and got this error message:
"ALSA lib pcm_rate.c:1369:(snd_pcm_rate_open) Cannot find rate converter"
When I tried Warsow and Sauerbraten I got the same error message. All exited
with a segfault. I still got system sound and Rhythmbox is also working.
I've attached the output of "./alsa-info.sh --no-upload --with-devices
--with-alsactl --with-configs" The alsa-info.sh script is downloaded from
<http://git.alsa-project.org/?p=alsa-driver.git;a=blob_plain;f=utils/alsa-info.sh>.
If you need more information, please ask for it.
