I tried following the guide: Added the wirelessfix.sh Blacklisted rtl8187 Added ndiswrapper to /etc/modules Choose wext and wlan0 I also tried changing the encryption from WPA2/AES to WPA/TKIP but it still doesn't work.
When I start up the Wicd tray I see the network and try to connect, the tray icon indicates that it has good connection. Then green bar is filled all the way to the top. But at the bottom of the Wicd window the message changes between: Connected to "NetworkName" at 60 (IP: 192.168.1.40) and Connected to None at 60 (IP: 192.168.1.40) Every couple of seconds The number 60 changes from round 50-60 and 0.
