A few directories seem to have been mixed up?
The following scripts provides relief until this (minor) bug gets fixed.

aptitude install workrave
mkdir -p /usr/local/share/workrave
mkdir -p /usr/local/share/sounds
ln -s /usr/share/workrave/exercises /usr/local/share/workrave/exercises
ln -s /usr/share/sounds/workrave /usr/local/share/sounds/workrave
exit 0
