Public bug reported: Ubuntu Hardy
I'm fixing a Sony Vaio VGN-SZ65GN. The problem is that the touchpad (which has the synaptics driver) works in reverse, that is when I scroll to the right with my fingers it goes to the left on the screen. When I go up with my finger the pointer goes down on the screen. This actually could be a Sony Vaio hardware issue, as a lot of people are experiencing it: http://tinyurl.com/4wgftc (this redirects to a Google search). I tried to add the options InvX "on" and InvY "on", or FlipXY "on" in xorg.conf, but I think this only works for the mouse drivers, not for the synaptics driver, as it didn't work. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Touchpad with Synaptics driver works in reverse on Vaio VGN-SZ65GN https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/241291 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
