This is not an GPM bug. GPM just read the information about the battery
life from the kernel or acpi, etc, if you run powertop and discover an
app using a lot of cpu cycles or wake ups you should fill a bug to that
application not to the app who show how much battery you currently have,
feel free to do that, closing this report. thanks.
