Please can you take a look at /usr/share/doc/pm-utils/README.debugging .
Then blacklist the module 90clock and set PM_DEBUG to true
to do this add a file named defaults in /etc/pm/config.d/ edit it and add the
lines
HOOK_BLACKLIST="90clock"
PM_DEBUG="true"
then reproduce the suspend/resume issue and tell us the result.
