I've reproduced the reported behavior of ubiquity on the released 8.04 live cd, that clicking the close button on the installation progress dialog does not actually stop the installation process. I then rebooted the live cd image, enabled proposed, updated the version of ubiquity to that in proposed (1.8.11, though I see 1.8.12 is being pushed in), and the option to close the installation dialog no longer exists.
Installation otherwise proceded normally, though the examination of existing partitions seemed to take longer than I expected. This may have been due to the hard disk image being corrupted by the prior partial installation (I manually killed the background install after I had closed the installation dialog). tag -verification-needed verification-done -- Steve Beattie <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://NxNW.org/~steve/ -- Installation doesn't stop when clicking cancel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/107686 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
