OpenOffice should now fall back to following:
Gnome: openoffice.org-style-human
KDE: openoffice.org-style-crystal
And those styles are installed by default when installing the system.
Unless your theme is causes hi-contrast mode to be enabled:
hicontrast: openoffice.org-style-hicontrast
This is a bug but it already filed separately, hi-contrast mode
shouldn't be entered just for a dark theme.
** Changed in: openoffice.org (Ubuntu)
Status: Incomplete => Fix Released
