Are you using the proprietary Brother driver from the Ubuntu multiverse
repository (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/BrotherDriverPackaging) or the hl1250
ghostscript driver? Please provide the output of the printingbug info script as
described here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PrintingBugInfoScript.
