I just received the requested CD containing Ubuntu 8.04 LTS and tried
Live CD, direct install and dual boot. None worked. When I try to log in
using username and password Ubuntu reboots and I am directed back to the
login screen. I am using AMD64, 512 mb memory, 142 gb hard drive.
