Public bug reported:
I deleted old versions 2.6.24-16, and 2.6.24-18 through synaptic package
manager by deleting the linux image modules, so i was left with only
version 2.6.24-19. However, when restarting, I lost the menu and the
taskbar in Ubuntu gnome. I can no longer restore them back. Please help
short of reinstallation of the system.
