Public bug reported:

After upgrading to the 2.6.22-15-generic kernel, my BCM4318 can no
longer connect to my wireless network. NetworkManager does not shows
any APs. iwlist scan says that no wireless networks could be found. I
edited /etc/grub/menu.lst to boot with teh 2.6.22-14-generic kernel and
I am back in business. The following is the output of "lspci | grep
Wireless"

$ lspci | grep Wireless
05:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4318 [AirForce One 54g]
802.11g Wireless LAN Controller (rev 02)

Let me know what other information is needed.
