If I wasn't clear, I meant it used to happen on Ubuntu (GNOME) and it is or was happening on Xubuntu (XFCE). I have no idea about Kubuntu. I'm not sure if the Xubuntu one is fixed. Originally I had the bug unassigned, then it got assigned to debian-installer and xubuntu-meta by others but I don't know what to assign it to for the regular GNOME Ubuntu.
